Smells like old paper, wet outside stuff, and tobacco (or maybe ganja). And dried cherry fruits. Flavors are gamey, and it has a fireside feel. Toasted and roasted. And rusty iron too. Very ripe strawberries meets a croissant. Balance is nice. Plenty of tannin on the way out. This is what I think of as the way a Bordeaux blend tastes after some time mellowing in its own juices. Elegant, classy and covered in a lovely patina of rusty velvet.

Nov 10th, 2021This is a classy and true, aged French Bordeaux. Woodsy, best berries, savory, chewy. It’s what I imagine the wine Claret tasted of. The old books and robusta beans are here too. Complex and deep. Wonder if I would have found it as interesting young.
