Rich plum color. It has a smoky cedar nose to it. Very herb forward flavor. Better as it sits.

Dark cherry color. Aromas of plums, cherry and cedar. Mellow red fruit flavors, herbs and a watery finish that had me confused for a Cab Franc mix. Nevertheless, went good with a charcuterie.

Dark Bing cherry hue. Aroma is potent. Pie filling and cobblers. Slight incense and cedar shingles. (Aude says stale bread). Flavor is straight French. Dark inky, chewy, bitter. Lots of tannins in the finish. The Franc really comes through. A wine that would divide. Not for the American palate. Nor weak of heart. But I love this kinda thing.

Oaky smoky flavor, almost tart like fruit. Good wine easy to drink. Finish is light but still good.

Color of deep ruby, with a touch of brown and purple. Nose of cocoa, dried strawberries, leather, cherry, and medicinal note. Taste follows the nose with cherry jam note stands out plus some anise and peppery note. Aftertaste is medium long with marginal tannins and raisins. The nose fades away quite fast. Overall, in this price range, the quality of her is really high, and totally deserves better scoring.
