St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Great classic cabernet franc nose with very good legs and lots of firm tannins and acidity. Blackberries, chestnut wood, and fresh chewing tobacco. I suspect the fruit will fade before the tannins. The latter are thick but not so dense that they overwhelm. Would definitely recommend it!

@볼트스테이크하우스 chateau pavillon figeac 2012 saint-émillion grand cru / 김포와인아웃렛 떼루아에서 구입했던 La Grave Figeac의 세컨브랜드. 고메위크23 세 번째 레스토랑인 볼트에서 개봉했다. 짙은 자주색에 미디움 바디감의 보르도 와인. 블랙커런트와 베리향이 짙어 정말 향긋하다. 12년 빈티지여서 조금 열어뒀다가 마셨다. 맛은 놀랍도록 부드러웠는데, 입에 머금으면 산미와 향신료향이 피어오른다. liked it! 9.2

벽돌색은 한시간가량 오픈해두어야 옅게 올라오기 시작하고 짙은 자줏빛 색깔이 두드러지는 2012년 빈티지. 잠시 오픈해두고 흔들었을때, 꽃향기와 스파이스가 나를 반겨준다. 미디엄바디감에 상큼함이 길게가는 와인이고 짙은 검은색 과실보다는 가벼운 산딸기 같은 와인. 떠오르는것은 여름의 등산때 불어오는 상쾌한 바람. 오롯이 와인만 마셨을때 보다는, 진한 스테이크와 먹었을때 더욱 맛이좋은 와인이다.
