Saint-Èmilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Dense with chewy tannins

2004 vintage. Intense and powerful, concentrated, slightly jammy fruit. A bit overextracted leading to a drying finish.

Thick and still quite blocky with fine noticeable tannins and a relatively monolithic center of dark fruit. It’ll be interesting to see how this develops.

A bit fat, short.

Really special. Deep color, beautiful aromas of blackberry, cedar, toasted spice. Loved it.

Rich, full bodied showing dark cherry, berry with sweet, savory spice, mocha, graphite, earth & tobacco

Black cherry, berry fruit, full bodied with violets, mocha, sweet , savory spices, tobacco & chewy tannins

Notes got cleared out 3 times. Good but not as great as hoped. A bit dry on the palate.
