This is a nice after-work treat. A very focused, fruity nose. The palette is a little wild, I'll give it an hour before a 2nd pour. Macerated strawberries and plum, wet stone, garrigue, and tobacco leaf. Bright acidity and firm tannins. A good food wine, but I don't have any food.

First impression was the aroma of a typical St. Emilion wine but too acidic. It definitely quiet down after letting it sit for a while and turned out very good.

I do not drink a lot of Bordeaux so don’t have much frame of reference but I enjoyed this. Still quite closed, but opened up after an hour or two. Perfume, black fruit, some pepper and wood, hints of menthol and graphite. Had a rubbery, band-aid kind of smell at first, which wasn’t great.
