Château Nicot
Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend
Clear medium Ruby color and full bodied with high acidity. Clean medium intensity nose with notes of cassis, black berry and earth which follow on the palate as well. Short finish with light silky tannins. Excellent value for money!

4 people found it helpfulSep 21st, 2015I probably drank this past its prime but I'm going to rate it anyway. It was dark and leggy with a relatively good nose. When I uncorked it the 2nd time, there was a spray of wine, as you can see on the bottle. I am unaware of the physics that caused this. I'm just glad I wasn't wearing a white shirt (or any clothes for that matter) at the time. Close call. Anyway, the wine was slightly better than the other reviews say it is. Case closed.

Jan 22nd, 2022Smells like your typical inexpensive wine. Little bit of cedar and red fruit, maybe some tea? Tastes as it smells, though there are no off flavors. Bit of strawberry. Not bad, but not worth the $10 I paid for it. EDIT:MUCH IMPROVED WITH AIR AND BIGGER SIPS. Let it cover your tongue. More structure, though it’s still a little thin and bitter.
