Bekaa Valley Red Blend

Without a doubt one of my top 10 bottles. Un. Real.

Still assertive after 25 years.

Zaatarific. Sesame, oregano, dried fig

Medium ruby and smells of underbrush, oiled leather, sweet berries, and bloody meat. In the mouth the wine has a phenomenal depth and sweet purity - cherry, leather, fennel, herbs, and a stunning acidity.

First Lebanese wine! 91- totally different and delicious... beautiful color, crazy mix of everything (little oxidation, VA) but in a good way

A little disappointed .i waited a year or two long and missed the peak . Strange I've had far older with different outcomes . I wonder if there was a misstep in cellaring

This bottle was close to perfection. Cloudy in the glass with sweet fruit and silky tannins
