This really does have some polish on the nose, dark and broody with good intensity of dark fruit akin to a chocolate fruit gateaux. Unfurls slowly with time in the glass showing sweet liquorice, intense violet very fresh but still closed. Shows great promise. Very full.
Palate seems quite foresquare, sucked in on the mid palate lots of everything, tight and the quality really only showing at the moment on the length which has beautiful, intense blackcurrant and mint leaf, a very rich style mouton.

Happy Halloween Delectable!!!
3 hour decant (some chunky/cloudy sediment). A fabulous dark crimson blood red color🎃. On the nose: Very aromatic notes of blackberry, cassis, sweet aged Bordeaux perfume, little funky earth, cigar box, toasty vanilla. Taste: smooth, opulent, balanced medium plus body wine with red plum/cherry, cedar, smoke, pepper, and a mineral graphite long finish along with some drying still firm tannins....luv how this is evolving and can't wait to try again in a few more years. YUM!

Jul 13th, 2017Still way early and feels like the structure is fully not there. Can you believe I just drank this?! So sad that it wasn't off the charts amazing. Don't think I'll have another opportunity to drink this.
