Always preserved in the same cellar in optimal conditions - a wine that definitely need to breath decanted more than 30 minutes previous- an "off" vintage that is quite nicely evolved, smooth and good acidity, oak and tertiary are much present, a great wine but I would not pay 400$

Decant. A LOT. Opened after more than two hours. But when it opened..... I am not a fan of 93, I've always found the wines austere and thin, with harán tannins. I'd say 93 is for me the not so good vintage of the 90's. This mouton have proven me wrong.

Sometimes the unheralded vintages can be the best to discover because you are not setting yourself up. This one is complete, precise and very drinkable. Thank you Joy and Tom!
