06 and medium bodied and not as robust as big years but drank beautifully out of magnum.

Palate is pretty closed. Nose shows a youthful pomace nose. Has years to go

2006 vintage. Not a great vintage but a great property and great wine. Amazing concentration and length of finish. Pedigree counts. Especially when they keep after it. Really nice balance which is something the French are generally good at.

It's not everyday you get the opportunity to drink Montrose. Wow. Quintessential Bordeaux.
