1976 vintage. Label was pretty trashed (taped down one side for this picture) but fill-bottom neck-was excellent for the age. Used a Durand and decanted with the cork grading out at a B+/B. Plenty of sed. Older Burgundy color. Tasted over the course of two hours. Light-medium body. A bit of funk that took a while to blow off/resolve. Definitely not improving but some moments of note in the mid-palate. Drink 'em if ya got 'em. 12.17.23.

Very aromatic and smooth. Slight brown on edge but the flavors and nose of aged claret were profound. Have a few more bottles and will drink them this year.🍷🍷

Solid Montrose from an average vintage. Light brown on the rim. Aged claret aroma with resolved tannins. Very good considering the vintage. Held up well the entire evening. Good drinking now.😀🍷🍷

Classic Bordeaux, took about 45 minutes to open. Was full of tobacco, leather, with surprising and slight floral overtone.
