Took hours for funk to blow off. Still drinking ok (not great). At the end of its life. All tertiary. Not holding up nearly as well as mid 90’s mondavi’s.

From a beautiful site with a lake and gazebo, active geysers and volcanic soil is reminiscent of Italy. Even though this wine is 25 years old I found it to be quite firm and restrained. The others out shown it quite significantly.

Mar 6th, 2020The cork was difficult but worth the struggle. This well aged Cabernet took some time to open up but the lush red fruit was refined and exceeded expectations. Lovely.🍷

From the Conti cellar and in fine condition. Typical winery style which is balanced fruit and oak. Vineyard essence and terroir complete this multi faceted wine. So good 🍷🍷
