1993 Chardonnay from Chateau Montelena. Almost tastes like apple juice and candied butterscotch. Mild acidity and earthy tones mask very subdued flavors of fresh fruit. It had a pinkish gold color when poured in a glass. Smooth and glossy on the younger.
