From taste: rubber notes detract from nose, rich raspberry sauce vanilla and tobacco leaf. Palate is lean and elegant, bit of residual sugar showing up, moderate acidity but quite short on finish, and lacking in midpalate power. Not much for tannin either, this wasn't on the skins for never long...and is very light as a result. $70?

This was a solid glass of wine but certainly not anything special. It did grow on me as let it breathe and paired with some highly savory food. Not a big wine- I had expected more from a 2012.
