Ok Rosé

We loved Miraval's younger sister

I’m not sure where I got it nor the price but oddly I didn’t care for the first glass (thought it smelled like a barn) but the next day it tasted fine and light/dry

Very pale French rosé served with flatbread appetizer at Seasons 52 in Chestnut Hill, MA

Drank with a plate of blackberries—so perfect, not at all sweet, goes with everything wine. Nicely done, Angelina!

Grapefruit, lime, quince, white pepper, orange rind, gunpowder, saline, and oak. Medium alcohol, high acid, and medium finish. Good value wine.

2018 vintage

Hm... definitely getting some salinity and tons of grapefruit. Unique and certainly nuanced. It’s a thinker.
