Minervois Syrah Blend

Good value wine. Nice fruit character and floral notes. Easy to sip on, serious enough for food

Whoa. Serious poo/smoke vs pyrazine. Dark and sturdy

A little cooked and raisiny tasting but low alc. botrytis possibly?

Thr nose is marked by Syrah with blackberry and black pepper and licorice notes. There is a bit of black olive and a meaty touch too along with some oaky notes that are lurking in the background. It's quite nice ! The palate is very well balanced with a good acid drive, some width, some matter, a very soft mouthfeel, some nice blackberry and olive notes along with a savoury thing all along. The rear of the palate shows a bit of oak tannins, before a long, peppery, blackberry forward finish with meaty touches and some oak, laying a delicate yet drying layer all over it. It's simple yet delicious. Relaxing Friday evening poor.

Dark red color. Spicy nose. Wine contains chocolate, raisins, and olives. A mix of CDP and Port. Deep wine with a medium finish. Decent value.

Light fruity Blend. Get a good nose and taste of Syrah and the Grenache....almost a lighter version Chianti. Not bad value for price.

A nice different recommendation from the restaurant manager but very light considering we were looking for something full bodied. Enjoyable for what it was though and reasonably priced.

Found it at Trader Joe's for an excellent price! Wine is amazing
