Earthy, cinders, funky plum. A dark wine, but not necessarily heavy.

Pretty and light bodied, extremely so to the point of almost washed out. Dusty cherry, leather, earth flavors take some coaxing to reveal themselves. a nice enough glass after it builds some body with air

Color of purple mixed with ruby. On the rim the color fades away. Nose is quite marginal with leather, sugarplum, hot spice. Taste is blank in the beginning. After a few moments, flavors like chocolate, leather, subtle acidity and mild sweetness, dark cherry, and raisin show up. Still quite watery, but with powerful tannins. Aftertaste is a bit bittersweet, and sulfate. Nothing too exciting. I know the price is low, but I do expect more.

I like the bitterness but overall kinda boring for me.

Simple drinking. Medium tannins. Good dose of red peppers and spice notes that makes it a decent food wine. Lack of fruitiness makes it hard to enjoy on its own. Very closed nose and lacks finish.
