Proof that you can have a tasty French Bordeaux at a reasonable price ($13). Although it's not super complex, it's true to its "French style" in that it's more earthy than fruit forward, it's has a medium body with subtle, well integrated tannins, and it's lower in alcohol at 13%. This was very enjoyable, especially at this price point. Enjoy a bottle all to yourself, or confidently bring it to a casual dinner to share with friends. Good stuff!

Classic Bordeaux scents: plum, black cherry, green peppers, tobacco, and forest floor. Palate is dark fruit driven, with peppercorn spice. Medium body and length. Great QPR. Drink now - 2020.
