Nice Bordeaux, dark cherry color and flavor with plum and tobacco. Dry. Opened up with some time, recommend 2-3 hrs before drinking. Nice price point at $17 from Costco. Purchased a year ago so hope they still carry it.

Lestage 2010, a bit of aging on it. Nicely integrated now. Tar, cedar and black currant on the nose. A nice meat juice and truffle note is lurking in the back. The palate is not the broadest or the most impressive but shines with its acid drive, its nice peppery notes, its bright black currant touch and its polished tannins that are now well integrated. There is a nice bitter note blossoming over a finish that sports some black currant and peppery touches. It's a good wine and it has still some time ahead, it's still has a young wine profile. We paired with duck confit and cooked apple, a great pairing.

Oh I love the nose of this one. Like walking by a barn in the autumn full of horses with a vineyard in the middle of crush on the other side of the street. Half lusty berry half barnyard grunge. Great!layers of berry tar earth tabacco and graphite. Nice long finish and soft sweet tannins. Really like.

A Costco find at $16.99. Let it open. Fruit forward with strawberry and cherry. Dry finish. OK, not great.

Tobacco, earth and some tightness. Open for an hour and still developing more fruit.

Tight at the opening.. Let it breathes for 2 hours and we begin with the wine. Cherry and raspberry on nose. Fruits, licorice, and oak on palate. Fine structure, solid from begin to the end. Long finish. 56% Merlot, 40% Cab. Sauvignon, and 4% Petit Verdot. This wine will surely develop for 3-4 years further. Enjoy 🍷

Way too dry and mushroomy for my taste, though relieved by a clean apple whisper.
