A clean, elegant expression of pure varietal Malbec, aged in concrete. After a decade plus the fruit is still bright and intense, a candy shop of licorice and sweet black cherries and berries. This deliciousness carries through on the long finish which also adds mineral character with some lingering dry tannin. Pretty darned good Cahors that shows oak is not always necessary to produce an age-worthy and world-class wine.
