A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 60% Merlot and sits on oak (30% new). A rich wine with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, bramble and flinty notes. On the palate big fruit flavors, blackberry and blueberry with leathery tar tones, well balanced with acidity. Firm tannins needs time to open, lingers, ending with a chalky mineral character. A great 2nd label wine!

Very young but couldn't resist trying a 2015 Bordeaux.
Definitely not a pnp. Decanted for 60 min.
As a second label shows great promise for both leoville and the 2015 Bordeaux vintage.
