Plenty of acidity. Fruits are tired. Fine grained tannins. Hints of bell pepper. Dust and earth. Leather.

Dinner party, notes will be limited.
Bought from a restaurant closing about 5-6 years ago.
Menthol, mint, red pepper, steely, soft tannins but still good acid, our first 78 Bordeaux.

1978. Still fresh. Slight pyrazines, dried herbs, cooked cherries, tobacco, silky tannins. Medium body, medium tannin, med finish.

A little maderized but interesting for what it was.

Fresh, herbal, red. Unlikely most folks would accept this amount of pyrazines in a young wine today, but at 40 years it elevates aromas of all kinds.
