Though the bell pepper note was quite prominent, the nose was nevertheless deep and inviting with cassis, blackcurrant, licorice, raspberry, touch of vanilla, and hint of smoked meat, thyme, and anise. Fresh and round acidity sporting a feminine medium to full body with polished tannins. Young and just starting to develop.
Clos du Marquis has its own vineyard and therefore is not considered a 2nd wine to LLC. As a matter of fact, it has its own 2nd wine. Paid a bit less than $50. A steal.

Oct 15th, 2017(16.5/20) Насыщенный цвет и богатый, хотя и сдержанный аромат спелых чёрных ягод, шоколада и черного перца. Высокая кислотность и умеренная танинность. Танины уже готовые, мягкие. Свежее и ягодное во вкусе.
