Showing red currants, oak, cherry, raspberries, vegetables, earth, spices, peppercorn, black chocolates, tobacco and pencil lead.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with a short finish and round tannins.

Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour of airtime, when the tannins show up.

A good food wine, simple and easy drinking.

I paired it with BBQ Meats.
