Vintage 1989 | dull colour, spicyness in smell: laurel, an iron impression. Taste: a mature Lady without tension. Not too tired up, very drinkable to my surprise. | Paired with a potato leek galette and sausages

OK, but not memorable. The best available at Le Relais de l'Entrecote.

First wine tried in medoc region….definitely worth a second try 😉

Drinkable but lacked fruit to balance out the spice - ended up feeling a bit lean and flabby

Light bodied and fresh, obviously young but has mature sensibility already. Solid acidity and subtle berries over top. I think the dull tartness will dissipate with some more aging. This is one of two options at the Relais De Entrecote in Paris (the other is 'house').

France, Paris, Dinner, La Cantine du Faubourg, Riya & Fab. Absolutely love this wine!

Smells good thru allergies a bit bitey but soft flavor
