Very dark ruby. Crimson around the rim. On the nose, currant, cherry, tobacco, strong florals, perhaps lilac. Very lovely bouquet- very fragrant nose. On the palate, currants, tobacco, vanilla, florals and oak. Medium-Full body, nicely balanced. Tannins still present after 8 years. Long finish of florals and oak.
