Coffee shop nose. The nose is the star. The palate is very soft and pleasurable.

Not a big wine but delivers an interesting package of tart red Berry, smokiness, and minerals that transition into some fine but grippy tannins. Delivers a typical Right Bank profile but it's lean.

I've never been a big fan of this ubiquitous St. Emilion and I try to avoid the rainy green '07s. This didn't really taste like Bdx but didn't have much else going for it. There are better Bordeaux if you do your homework.

Really enjoyed this blend. Hands down the best Bordeaux French blend I've tasted. As an '07, it felt like it was entering its prime.

Big, solid tannin structure, @rodneyrod guessed right bank Cab heavy. He's gonna pass level 2 for sure

A very pretty, lighter style. Give time to open and it's very enjoyable. Smooth

The soils here are all limestone and clay so a very different soil type with a good amount of sweet currant and dark plum fruit light smoky notes and coffee very complex but lighter and more elegant style. 2/3 merlot 1/3 Cabernet franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon this wine is very smooth and drinkable with a host of that coffee and earth notes through the finish very smooth and silky tannins. Finish 40+
