Tonight I am enjoying this 2009 Chateau Larose-Trintaudon Haut-Medoc. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot. On the nose I am getting blackberry, black cherry, black currant, licorice, and nice earthy components. On the palate is nice black cherries, black currant, violets, clove, graphite, and hints of tobacco. Medium+ acidity that sings on the tip of my tongue, smooth medium+ tannin with a long enjoyable finish. I purchased this wine for $21.99 a great QPR for this Left Bank Bordeaux.

Aug 13th, 2015BORDEAUX!!!!!!!! The nose is nice black plum, blackberries, dusty trail, and hints of licorice. The Merlot gives this wine a good round silky smooth mouth feel. I get good dark fruits, tobacco, cassis, with tannins I like a little chewy. The mouth feel last long with a drying feeling well to the end. Not a bad bottle for around $24.
