A cheap bottle that we picked up on a whim at Costco. Actually, very surprising to find an old world style Bordeaux these days. Deep berry fruit with a touch of spice/rusticity/funk, nice tannins, nice acidity. All one could want in a Cru Bourgeois.

Delicious inexpensive bordeaux. Not overdone at all, real claret. Fresh fruit and even some pencil?

2010, Chateau L'Argenteyre, Cru Bourgeois Medoc, Red Bordeaux Blend. Drank this too young but still a decent juice. Tannins were prominent as expected but not overpowering. Good balance and not very complex.
