Spicy beef, smoke and tobacco, grilled bell pepper, juicy black fruit and leafy forestfloor. Quite an elegant wine, fresh and focussed, pinch of that Old World Funk. Adorable Left Banker, drinking at peak now.

Wine of the night. Graceful, vibrant, balanced, and long. Tar, orange peel, cassis, hint dried leaves. Wasn't convinced at first, but just kept getting better and better.
