Pur Jus Ventoux Red Rhone Blend

This 2017 has a very classic appeal with lovely garrigue aromas, stony and savory black fruit and game. The smoked meat character from Syrah is a welcome addition but avoids being dominant.

Blackberry compote, violets, book binding, currants, garrigue, popcorn kernels, lavender. Vibrant acid/mild narrow smooth velvet tannins, medium bodied, smoky earthy finish. Partially carbonic, 50+year old vines, loads of character.

Hints of a bandol blanc (this is the white). Lovely and balanced

Lovely fruit, juicy with rounded tannins.

Mm not my favorite

Medium bodied, juicy fruit flavors. Drinks easily, somewhere close to a pinot but slightly bigger.

Great value no sulphur ventoux

Earthy notes and red berries hints. Strong acidity almost out of balance. Very soft tannins and medium bodied for a short length finnish.
