Old vines (65 - 70 years), mainly cabernet sauvignon (75%) with merlot (15%) and petit verdot (10%). The back label shows a map with Cissac, Pauillac (mentioning Lafite-Rothschild and Latour), and Lacanau (for whatever weird reason). Showing a map using the reputation of famous Premiers Crus on your back label is a red flag to me. The wine is decent, but the toasted oak makes it vulgar. Medium-bodied and oaky, like a little Bordeaux with too much make up. There is so much great value in Bordeaux for this price, so would not recommend.
