Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Blind, I would guess this to be a very modern style, over extracted, somewhat harshly granular California Cab of a style I eschew. Sad to see the descent of Lafleur.

Cherries and sweet oak. Burgundian mouthfeel. Subtle but powerful tannins. Long, plum skin finish.

A little green for me but damn this was as fine as silk. Good length. Just a tough vintage.

16.5/20 (91/100) Аромат вишни, малины, красных слив, вяленых томатов, пломбира, кардамона, гвоздики и шоколада. Довольно тельное и кислотное. Таниность умеренная, замшевые по текстуре. Приятное, элегантное, но не потрясающее. #dfwe2019
