Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Interesting, always great to try the 'off' vintages, seem to show better balance than the richer vintages.

Wine of the night!

I was scared at first. Vintage isn't the best one, tough conditions, rain close to harvest date.
Then I popped it and suddenly That happened. Definitely, Lafite is another breed of wine. I must admit that this is a rather austere Lafite but fruit is there, topical Bordeaux nose, very "Old School". mint, pudding and confit fruit (not dry nor overripe, rather mature I must admit).
Give Bordeaux best properties some bottle age then you understand why all the buzz. Loved it!

Выпито в Al- Husn в ресторане 12.11.18. Великое вино из первой пятерки Бордо. Но пик зрелости уже прошёл. Благородно, достойно, спокойно.

Amazing how you could smell and taste the fruit in the wine. Even though it has 24 years. Incredible wine. You could definitely store this for many years.

Didn't get to taste but I'm keeping this on my list!!!
