terracotta , mid garnet . Touch of swimming , quite herbal and dusty old wood . Some dried spice and light herbal fruits which fill out ok on the palate, hint of caramel , touch drying and quite short on the finish . For the vintage this is commendable , but really should have been drunk a couple of decades ago.

This was a very nice vintage. True to its French roots! Very good representation of Bordeaux. A real treat.

About to taste! Decanted about an hour ago. Strong cassis nose. Amazing aged raisin and sultana to a buttery finish. Certainly past its best. A noble wine.
