Chateau Lafayette Reneau
Semi Dry Riesling
NYWFC Governor Cup winner 2014 (Best overall NYS wine). Nose of tropical citrus topped with fresh, homemade whipped cream. Continues with lovely pineapple and honeyed cantaloupe flavor and finished with some subtle Asian spiced pear. Well deserved win by a name that's been around since 1985! Buy while you can!

Can't put my finger on it, but it reminds me of opening brand new toys when I was little. Surprisingly light on flavor and very short though. As I said last week, the Fingers Lakes Whites are coming along!
