On opening, an impenetrable tannic brick. Two hours in a dark and dense fruit begins to shine. Give this two or three more years in the cellar...not quite there yet. (Perhaps an 8.8--tops--by 2019.)

This was the second of 4 reds we had for our main course last night. We bought a case to lay down and food drinking now. Full bodied, strong tannins, fruity great with beef wellington 😁

At a nice French restaurant in Miami Shores. Very nice wine to share with the table. Very smooth, faint peppery finish. Low tannins. Love it. Now hesitation in drinking this again!
