Now here's a decent drop. Candied violets on a rained out pub table, with hints of roll-up tobacco and veneer. Was probably better 10 years ago but I like the experience it's gathered down the road.

Holding up better. Some nice fruit and spice - still a teeny bit past its prime though!

Age coming forward, sweet tobacco, fresh leather, cedar and with cooked blackberry and red cherry. Words can't do it justice it's almost singing from the glass with still a nice black pepper note and a wonderful earthy mushroom note.

The tannins have really mellowed out. Still a fantastic acidity and all working in balance on the palate all those flavours coming through with a roasted meat that compliments well. An almost mint fresh feel with its lengthy finish.

The wine is in its prime and goes down so well.

The hype of aged wine can be justified when it's like this. A real treat and superb right now, I would be scared to let this go much further.

Started a little clunky and tight. After an hour or so open, it started to grow on me. Well made, but I think I will wait a few more years before I try another one.
