New vintage from the one I had once. Pretty standard label. Looks like a fancy building. Quite symmetrical. Deep rosy, red color. Smells of spices (Indian and middle eastern), rose petal potpourri, and cherry jam. Flavors are balanced and supple. Bit jammier and full bodied than the classic tannic French reds of Bordeaux. Acid is good. Flavors are nice and the price is right. Great everyday Bordeaux.

Jan 8th, 2021You can pick up the 40% cab franc. It doesn't overpower the cab and Merlot but it is definitely there in the nose taste and tannic finish.

A little fruity upfront but finishes very dry as you would expect from a Bordeaux. 2014 very enjoyable just had it with a nice fillet. The notes for me are Plum and tobacco.

That funky and inky nose of French style wines. Little Concord grape juice concentrate in there too. Flavor is earthy with pepper, olive and smoked meat to balance the juicy black berries and cherries. Rich and pretty heavy on the tannic bite. Very nice stuff.
