How nice to see some aged wine in a bistro-styled Restaurant! 'La Vache qui tète' in Clermont Ferrand is housed in a former butchery and they serve wonderful Charolais meat. That's it.
And they have nice wines and artisanal beer on their list. Nice!
This wine is a fully mature, true-to-type 'Bourgeois' St. Emilion, plummy, steely, medium bodied.

Drinking the 2007 (half bottle size) but date wasn't an option. Light peppery taste and great choice to start the evening.
