Reddish in color with medium intensity.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruity.
Showing red cherries, currants, light wood, spices, coffee and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Easy drinking and good by itself.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time. The high alcohol is well integrated.
I had the 2015 vintage and it was better.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

Exceptionally smooth and full. Slightly acidic so went with a Tuscan chicken meal - but not so much that it wasn’t pleasant to sip afterwards as well. Very nice.

Rich, with substantial length, but maybe a little disjointed. I suspect some early oxidisation is mixing things up for the worse. Enjoyable enough.
