2010 vintage. Ripe tree fruit - apple, apricot, pear, honey, jasmine, slight caramel. M body, ripe fruit, nutty and a bit astringent. 30 sec finish. Nice wine.

Wow! I love this wine, so smooth! Beautiful red seductress from the Rhone Valley. Dark ruby in the glass, ripe berries on the nose, bright apricot and ripe pear, the perfect apple, transitions seamlessly to a nice milky caramel granite chalkiness with that perfect balance of spiciness. Such an enjoyable wine, I felt bad I was the only one drinking it. Drinking it with a slice of pizza with the kids ... pairs so well with the sweetness in the tomato sauce. Such wines capture the small pleasures of life!
