This wine is in a sweet spot for sure. Anise, earth, spices, tannins still grippy but not over the top.

Garnet color. Compared to the flamboyant Malescot we had in the same flight, feels a little understate. That being said this wine is all class, with the soil, lead pencil and dark fruit on the nose and palate, with a very long finish. Too young to assess properly, but delicious nonetheless.
