Château La Fleur Peyrabon
Pauillac Cru Bourgeois Red Bordeaux Blend
Wine comes from a 17-acre portion of the Peyrabon estate in Pauillac. Contains a high proportion of Cab Sauv yet has an elegance to the wine. Dark Ruby with aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of black fruits, oak and vanilla spice. Firm grippy tannins, ending with some oak and earthy notes on a medium finish ending somewhat tight, needs a few years in the bottle.

Jul 25th, 2019A rich wine with intense aromas of blackberries, black cherries, blackcurrant, chocolate, green bell pepper, peppercorn, licorice, and other herbaceous aromas. Chewy tannins, long and consistent finish 🍷Nice bottle for a decent price!

Dec 9th, 2019Plum, Wet gravel and minerality on the nose. Medium+ body High acid and medium+tannin. Didn't like middle flavors of minerality but good finish

Oct 13th, 2019Big and round mouthful, dried cassis, tobacco. Some hints of bell pepper. Rustic but very well balanced at the same time. Deep and inky purple. Fruit is far back there, which is a nice change of pace for us Americans. Great with a NY strip on a Thursday night.

Aug 30th, 2019Nose is not very impressive, BUT, I like the concentration, that the acid is low, the tannins are soft, black cherry, blueberry on your tongue. a nice finish makes me want my grandma’s blueberry pie right now.
