Dark red cherry color. Dull sheen and rim extends to the edge of the glass. After 30mins open, it began to show itself. Subtle mushroom, robust cherry nose. Palate has dusty tannins, lively red raspberry and strong acidity. The mouthfeel is light and dryness transitions in layers. There is a little astringency, but would go well with meats or pastas, or simply drinking if you crave elegance and traditional styles. The flavor is quick to moderate. Opened 12/22/15
