Great wine. Little funky just the way I like it.

53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 5% petit Verdot. Decanted for 2.5 hours. Earthy, graphite, hints of vanilla, cocoa, and a a good amount of herbaceousness. Springy and fresh acidity. Very tannic, lingers on the palate. Well structured. Absolutely delicious.

Dzme vin de Ch.Le Crock. Kryak, bryak, telemyak. True to its S.Estephe rusticity, with some angularity and tight Cab structure. Medium zesty and fresh body. Bought on sale @ 1290 R to accompany evening food. Right result at destination point.

Again a nice Saint -Estephe but a bit too young (2010). Still very high on tanines.

2011 is a touch young but a very enjoyable rich wine that stays in the mouth and perfect for a simple meal of ceviche, cheese and good bread.
