Fantastic!! Thick and chewy, tons of dark fruit mixed with firm tannins. In a great place right now.

Great Bordeaux, plenty of years in the bottle and drinking well despite reading that it was past it’s prime. Initial savoury flavours develop with cherries, French oak, menthol, mushroom and wood smoke. Nose is rich with dark fruit and vanilla in the background. Deep red, vibrant colour in the glass, certainly doesn’t look 20 years old. Enjoyed this.

Loving this Pomerol! Full bodied, rich, earthy, balanced. Well integrated fruit, hint of honey, anise, a nice long finish.

Decent Bordeaux... lots of vanilla, black fruit, and well integrated tannins. Not sure it will get any better - drink it now.

By nose rich in black fruit, vanilla, oak. Palate mirrors the same, sweet, medium bodied with long finish, structured tannin, bit dry, complex. Good Bordeaux merlot.
