Cru Bourgeois Red Bordeaux Blend

Eucalyptus, menthol, licorice, shiitake... lots going on. Very nice tannins, precise finish. Drink in he next 5 years.

Really enjoying restrained French wines lately; cassis, earth, dusty oak, some mineral; balanced tannins

Dark garnet (almost purple) color. Medoc blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). Aromas of blackberry, black pepper, vanilla and smoke. Black berry/currant and blueberry fruit flavors with nicely integrated oak. Dense texture but nicely structured and balanced. Fine tannins. Robust and concentrated. Great QPR!

2009, excellent, nez cuir, tanins ronds, équilibré, puissant et long

Supple tannins, but light and dry up front, not fruity, maybe some hints of black cherry mixed with earthiness.

Soft and fruit-forward. Found it a little disappointing personally, but a good, solid choice.

Light, elegant Bordeaux

Smooth, bold, drinkable. Blackberry, cinnamon, spice notes. Tannins up front. Probably good for a few more years to come.
