Ok, it is Friday and I'm going into my Bordeaux Stash. Right Bank 95% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc Mmmmmm! The first "Sniffy Sniff" I am hit with licorice, cassis, dark fruit and some earthy notes. On the palate a good smooth mouth feel, blackberries, tart black cherries, light tannins and black currant. The fruit hits right up front and at the mid palate comes the tannin with the earthy notes then quickly falls off on the backend. A descent wine but doesn't excite me.
