Nice fruit with a touch of licorice, but slightly acidic.

Pop and pour, This stuff is consistently good and true to style and a high value. Cherry, cassis, toffee and bitter chocolate tannins, some savoury herbs, leaves. Would love to age it a bit. 89…plus.

4/2023. At the price point of 8.99 you can’t go wrong. Nice medium bodied Bordeaux. Going back for more.

NOSE: Olives, apple (?), toffee, leaves, some baking spice. Fruit darker than I remember in other years.

TASTE: simple but good - just enough oak to add a little quaffability, flavors are dark fruit, light roast coffee, a little toffee and earth. Tannins balance on the finish - you can tell it’s young but who cares. Another good-but-cheap Bordeaux. I liked 2018 better, but this is good too. 89.
