4/2023. At the price point of 8.99 you can’t go wrong. Nice medium bodied Bordeaux. Going back for more.

NOSE: Olives, apple (?), toffee, leaves, some baking spice. Fruit darker than I remember in other years.

TASTE: simple but good - just enough oak to add a little quaffability, flavors are dark fruit, light roast coffee, a little toffee and earth. Tannins balance on the finish - you can tell it’s young but who cares. Another good-but-cheap Bordeaux. I liked 2018 better, but this is good too. 89.

Tried right out the bottle through an aerator. Nose: dark cherry, menthol, leaves, mild oak/toffee. Taste: simple, a little tight and bitter. I preferred the 2018, I’ve read that 2019 was as good a year for Bordeaux as 2018 (or better), so perhaps this just needs another year. 86.

Good leg and tannin, slightly earthy with dark cherry and blackberry aromas.
